The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Primary part-time position for a Tririga Program Architect supporting a technology solutions deliverable located in Washington, DC.
Opportunity to work within a professional and diverse team of 15-25 person technology unit supporting the common IT + Facilities goals & objectives for a large, very dynamic, Federal Agency. The project involves supporting, staffing and managing a large portfolio for facilities and IT. Agency is involved in strategic expansion efforts and technology will play a key role in managing a successful expansion.
As the program architect, support the project surge efforts to provide full life-cycle development including design, development, testing and implementation of projects that support business goals.
Take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion.
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
Extensive use of testing software Approve final product before launch
Understanding the use of testing software for solution compliance.
Basic knowledge in TRIRIGA Platform and application
Experience in application development including IDE or GUI based programming tools
Experience in Evaluating customer requirements and technical designs to perform development and testing activities.
Experience in and ability to work with multiple internal and external organizations to resolve technical and other customer related problems, multitask, meet deadlines and set priorities.
Experience in Technical Consulting (or equivalent role)
Basic knowledge in reporting tools such as Crystal and BIRT.
Basic knowledge in data migration tools, Extract Transform Load (ETL) scripts, etc.
Basic knowledge in related TRIRIGA technologies such as Single Sign On, GIS, CAD, Offline, DataConnect, Data Integrator.
Basic knowledge in relational database administration DBA skills and SQL.
Proven experience as technical program architect
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Understanding of software quality assurance principles
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
High quality organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Necessity to be able to speak, write read and communicate fluently in English
Solution delivery expertise should include IWMS (ARCHIBUS, Tririga), EAM/CMMS (Maximo, Infor), CAFM, ITSM, FCA, CAD/BIM, GIS technologies.
BI & Reporting tools such as BIRT
Specialty areas can include CAD & BIM, GIS solutions like Esri, Condition assessment tools like BUILDER SMSTM, mobile technologies, sensor technologies.
