Description/Job Summary

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Asset Management Specialist (Maximo Specialist) supporting a technology solutions deliverable located at two locations, DC & PA.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Experience associating work order call center dispatch – assigning, supporting, status updates, resource assignments, job calendar, closing work orders
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and deferred maintenance, establishing job plans and work tasks, establishing a resource bench
  • Experience with managing a resource calendar of multiple staff and contractors for supporting both on-demand work orders as well as a planned maintenance task, such as PM’s
  • Experience managing an asset lifecycle plan for both internal building assets as well as site assets and equipment.
  • Experience creating, updating, and developing asset & equipment datasets, and equipment inventory, for maintenance and PM’s
  • Experience supporting Facility Condition Index (FCI) inspections, and sustainment tools such as BUILDER SMS
  • Experience creating, updating, and generating monthly activity reports based on work order, PM’s and condition assessment activity

Required Skills

  • Certification in Maximo, training course acceptable
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience using Maximo software and/or BUILDER SMS

Preferred Skills

  • Solution delivery expertise can include IWMS, CMMS, CAFM, ITSM, FCA, CAD/BIM, GIS technologies.
  • Services will include both project delivery-based service delivery, as well as staff augmentation on-site contracted services, support delivery.
  • Services experience will include various roles for consulting/needs analysis, data assessment/data quality, integration services, implementation services, training and technical and help desk support.
  • Specialty areas can include CAD & BIM, GIS solutions like Esri, Condition assessment tools like BUILDER SMSTM, mobile technologies, sensor technologies.
  • Primary work environment and industry will be the Federal Civilian and Federal DoD markets, with remote office, in-office, home-office, and onsite services delivery roles.

Required Education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • 1-2 years minimum experience, inclusive of College/University experience, on up to 5-7 year industry subject matter experts
  • Technically compliant with MS Office tools, Visio, XLS advanced, Sharepoint
  • Professional Development & Technology Training will also be made available to candidates
  • Optional technical experience – Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit Architecture, BUILDER SMSTM V 3.5, Esri ArcGIS Server V10+, IWMS & CMMS solutions
