Description/Job Summary

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a CAD Specialist III(Tririga/CAD Specialist) supporting a technology solutions deliverable located at two locations, DC & PA.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Experience associating drawing objects to spatial information within a CAFM environment.
  • Experience drawing, creating and updating polylined spaces, area overlays, and query boundaries on master record drawing CAD files.
  • Experience attaching, publishing, and synchronize polylined drawings to specific location data within a CAFM system.
  • Experience attaching gross area, gross measured area, and individual space data to the CAFM system.
  • Experience creating, updating, and developing location and organization hierarchies within the CADD file and publish them within the CAFM environment.
  • Experience attaching organizations to specific locations and create, edit, and manage space allocations within the CADD file and publish them within the CAFM environment.
  • Experience creating, updating, and attaching assets to specific locations within the CADD file and publish the developed data within the CAFM environment.
  • Experience developing drawing labels, label styles, and label themes that are visibly published within the CAFM environment.

Required Skills

  • Certification in Tririga Software Development
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Tririga CAD Integrator software.

Preferred Skills

  • Solution delivery expertise can include IWMS, CMMS, CAFM, ITSM, FCA, CAD/BIM, GIS technologies.
  • Services will include both project delivery-based service delivery as well as staff augmentation on-site contracted services support delivery.
  • Services experience will include various roles for consulting/needs analysis, data assessment/data quality, integration services, implementation services, training and technical &  help desk support.
  • Specialty areas can include CAD & BIM, GIS solutions like Esri, Condition assessment tools like BUILDER SMSTM, mobile technologies, sensor technologies.
  • Primary work environment and industry will be the Federal Civilian and Federal DoD markets, with remote office, in-office, home-office and onsite services delivery roles.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Bentley Systems GIS applications and tools.

Required Education

Associated Degree in Computer Drafting and Design Technology or Applied Sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Top Secret
  • 1-2 years minimum experience, inclusive of College/University experience, on up to 5-7 year industry subject matter experts
  • Technically compliant with MS Office tools, Visio, XLS advanced, Sharepoint
  • Professional Development & Technology Training will also be made available to candidates
  • Optional technical experience – Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit Architecture, BUILDER SMSTM V 3.5, Esri ArcGIS Server V10+, IWMS & CMMS solutions
