Description/Job Summary

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Building Manager in Arkansas.  The Building Manager shall assist the 63rd Regional Support Command (RSC) with the execution and implementation of a multi-faceted, comprehensive environmental base operations and sustainment program to ensure the buildings and grounds are properly monitored and maintained to meet the functional, appearance, safety, security, and environmental standards.

  • Provide technical support for staff performing facility and infrastructure operation, maintenance, repair, and small projects alterations and installations
  • Manage and direct personnel in the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, systems, and equipment, including structural, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Support small project development, design, bidding, schedule, and execution
  • Coordinate, track and record the progress of building maintenance and trouble calls
  • Assist the Site Lead in maintaining continuity of buildings systems operations during routine and emergency operations Assist with project solutions for client/customer
  • Maintain official records and documents
  • Manage and maintain health and safe facilities/property
  • Executes customer work requests, moves furniture, does routine maintenance of other building systems, space modifications and trouble calls supporting the built environment.
  • Assists one or more workers in overall general/routine building maintenance to include, but not limited to such tasks as moving, setting up modular office cubes and furniture; changing air filters; preparing buildings and grounds for heavy weather (i.e., sandbagging, salting walkways); returning buildings and grounds to functional capability after heavy/destructive weather (i.e., snow removal, etc.)

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and three-plus years experience;

• Five plus years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:

• Current favorable, or eligible for a National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI) clearance, in accordance with AR 380-67;

• Valid Driver’s License
