The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time General Maintenance Worker III. The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work also involves the installation of new systems furniture, case goods furniture, and technical workbenches including the break-down and reconfiguration of existing systems furniture, case goods, and technical workbenches. Work includes the installation of wiring harnesses, power poles, and base in-feeds. variety of the following duties: replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks, tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken window panes, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
A minimum of a high school diploma (HSD) or equivalent is required for this position.
