The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day direction and overall task performance. Oversees plans and executes subject areas or sub-tasks. Responsible for providing
overall direction to assigned project, works directly with the employees and ensures the project is executed to standard as per contract. Provides expert functional and management guidance to employees and meets regularly with client management to discuss
status and resolve program related issues.

The responsibilities of the Project Manager are listed below.
Manage the staff that supports the customer in their day-to-day activities.
Act and company liaison for all WAPA operations, including representing eLe for all administrative and operational aspects of the program.
Reviews status reports prepared by employees.
Prepares project reports for contract management and customer.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Assists with monitoring of the budget to determine time frames with project completion, budget or funding issues, assist with procedures for accomplishment of tasks, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
Physical Requirements And Environmental Conditions
Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Possible standing for long periods of time and walking long distances.
Inside office environment. Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers and all levels of management.
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, a telephone, copier, and other general office equipment.
Work hours are normally 40 hours per week. Overtime is infrequent, but important when required.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree plus eight (8) years of directly related experience.
Master’s Degree or higher in Directly Related Field and 3 years experience,
Master’s Degree or higher in Non Directly Related Field and 6 years experience,
Associate’s Degree and 10 years experience, or
High School/GED with 15 years experience.
Must possess excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Must have directly Supervised/Managed at least two (2) of the following labor categories in a utilities construction and maintenance environment: Engineering Tech IV, Engineering Tech V, Engineering Tech VI – GIS Analyst, Protection and Control Specialist,
Metering and Relay Technician, Drafter/CAD Operator IV, Drafter/CAD Operator V, Drafter/CAD Operator VI, Computer Operator III, Construction Inspector Support, Realty Technician, Senior Utility Forester, Utility Forester, Utility Herbicide Applicators, High
Voltage Utility Equipment and Fleet Maintenance and Repair Technicians.
