Currently, The Building People has a position open for a full-time Recycling Laborer.
This position collects recycling products throughout the facility, these products include paper, cardboard, aluminum, plastic, printer ink, toner cartridges, newspapers, magazines, books, phone books, wooden pallets, and, as requested, lead-acid batteries. The products to be recycled include paper, cardboard, aluminum, plastic, printer ink, toner cartridges, newspapers, magazines, books, phone books, wooden pallets, and, as requested, lead acid batteries.
The Recycling Laborer loads recycling materials and delivers them to a recycling center, or other designated area.
Duties also include the distribution of recycling containers, the appropriate signage, and keeping containers clean.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and must have a valid driver's license.
A Secret Clearance is preferred but not required. In lieu of holding a Secret Clearance, the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required. Due to the nature of our business, most positions require U.S. citizenship. Federal Government experience
